Project: PV System mounted on the 'saw-tooth' roof of the sports hall
Technical Specifications: 368 Photowatt PW 1650 polycrystalline PV modules, with a total system output of 64kWp
The system was designed to increase the energy efficiency of the building, helping it to acheive a BRE Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) 'Excellent' rating. The building has since been featured in the architectural press. The project was funded under the 'Large-Scale Field Trial Programme' of the DTI (now DBERR)
